September 15-17 | Yelm, WA | Cascades Camp

RSVP on Facebook

Join us September 15-17, 2017 for Pure Desire's annual men's conference at Cascades Camp near Yelm, WA. No matter where you are in your journey, this three-day gathering will encourage and equip you for whatever you are facing. Hear from other men who have walked the path you are walking and learn from their stories of struggle and victory. During this time, you will gain new insights for the battle, new friends to stand with you, and a renewed awareness of God's work in your life. You don't want to miss it; the food, the camaraderie, the speakers, the natural beauty of the area—this weekend has it all! Fish the lake, bike the trails, hit a golf ball with the guys, all while being challenged to pursue God with your whole heart. We have been Redeemed! Come and discover how to live out your redemption in Jesus Christ.

James M. Reeves—Plenary Speaker

Dr. James Reeves has been a pastor for more than 30 years. Since 1984, he has been the senior pastor at City On a Hill. City on a Hill practices what James began to call the hospital church style of ministry. Dr. James Reeves regularly sees wounded people find help, hope, and healing, through Jesus Christ.

James is no stranger to emotional pain. He was born into an alcoholic home and suffered the emotional wounds of a rough childhood. Years later the bills began to come due in his life as the emotional wounds that he had glossed over and ignored for years began to surface. James nearly resigned from pastoral ministry, but chose to confront his past, then used this newfound freedom in Christ to build a church based on resolving emotional woundedness issues for greater intimacy with God.
