Sexy Christians Conference Testimony

Sexy Christians - the term sounds like a total oxymoron to most folks but God never designed it to be that way. From a local television reporter’s puzzled questions to me, “You are going to talk about this in church!” to our appearance on Good Morning America, people have been flabbergasted that we are talking about sex openly and honestly in the church.

But we must talk about it! Our world is awash in sex, using it to sell everything from cars to herbal shampoo. I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials. Our culture bombards our kids with sexual messages almost from birth and the church continues to have scandal after scandal in sexually related issues.

The church’s message has to be more than, “NO!” It has to be a resounding, “Yes…Yes…Yes!” Yes to the passion and purity that God has called us to! Yes to a sex life as a husband and wife that fulfills you to the deepest dimensions of your soul, where the holiest room in your house becomes the bedroom! Yes to helping teens and singles walk with such passionate purity that it would make a lost world jealous!

For such a time as this we desperately need to understand what it means to be a Sexy Christian. We need to be living in the sense of sexual fulfillment and maturity God designed us to experience as husband and wife because the world’s alternatives have become so deadly. And so many people are looking for answers and healing in one of the deepest areas of their lives – their sexuality. Our world is wide open to Christ’s design for sexuality but we need to live out the message without shame or hesitancy.

So what is a Sexy Christian Seminar? It consists of three one hour sessions discussing the Passion, the Partnership, and the Power of Sexy Christians. The participants will also be given extensive “homeplay” exercises to apply the information following the seminar.

The material is ultimately focused on helping the participants step forward into a greater level of commitment to Christ and to one another which lays the foundation for real intimacy. The material is definitely rated PG-13 and above, so it is not appropriate for children. Singles and mature teens have found the information very helpful but the focus will primarily be on couples. The format that works best is a Friday night session followed by two Saturday morning sessions.

What is the greatest aphrodisiac?
What is the sexiest part of your body?
Why is marriage one of God’s most powerful weapons in changing the human heart?
What is the greatest killer of a great sex life?
Why are men’s and women’s sexual needs so different and what are they?
What is sex really about from God’s perspective?
What are the differences between the male and female sexual response cycle?
