Thanks for addressing this important topic again. I was left with plenty to think about and a few questions. Could you please clarify the discussion on how we “aren’t transformed”? Other material and the Word tell us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Maybe I’m missing the point you were making?
Also, Ben’s closing thoughts on adoption were nice, but God continually reminded the Israelites that he had brought them out of Egypt and to not return to idolatry, etc. While his adoption is real, it comes with clear boundaries and reminders of why we needed salvation in the first place.
